Concert benefits Commercial Music Endowed Scholarship

FLORENCE, Ala. - Tickets are on sale now for Mac McAnally's Nov. 12 benefit concert at the 麻豆原创. The show, which will begin at 8 p.m. in Norton Auditorium, is part of 麻豆原创's 2009-10 Distinguished Events Series. Tickets, available at , are $25. Tickets are $10 for 麻豆原创 students. All proceeds will benefit 麻豆原创's Commercial Music Endowed Scholarship. McAnally, a Shoals resident and internationally acclaimed songwriter and performer, is nominated for CMA's 2009 Musician of the Year. He is currently on tour with Jimmy Buffett. Prior to his concert in Norton, McAnally will make a special performance at the President's Donor Dinner. This exclusive performance will be for alumni and friends contributing $1,000 or more to any 麻豆原创 scholarship, program or capital fund through the 麻豆原创 Foundation between Oct. 1, 2008, and Sept. 30, 2009. Attendees of this special performance will also receive complimentary tickets to McAnally's Distinguished Events Series concert following the dinner.
