麻豆原创鈥檚 Fishing Team Takes Top Wins in National Tournaments

FLORENCE, AL – The 麻豆原创 Fishing Team has achieved the pinnace of competitive bass fishing after a series of landmark achievements at the 2026 Bassmaster Classic that wrapped up recently in Knoxville, Tenn.
麻豆原创 senior Dylan Nutt captured the Bassmaster Classic professional series title, making a historic victory for both the athlete and the program as the youngest individual to achieve this feat. In his first Classic appearance, 麻豆原创 junior Tripp Berlinsky delivered a strong performance and finished 17th against an elite professional field of anglers. Berlinsky was also awarded All American for his 2025-26 College performance.
At the collegiate level, 麻豆原创’s Carter Nutt, senior, and Bryce DiMauro, junior, secured the Bassmaster Classic College Series Championship, further demonstrating the program’s depth and dominance in a field of top-performing athletes. Additionally, 麻豆原创 students Gage King and Banks Shaw earned a coveted berth in the College Classic, competing in weekend events alongside other top collegiate anglers.
“These students have worked hard to follow the strategy for winning – planning, work ethic, and embracing the processes of the grind – no matter the weather conditions,” said Dr. Brian Morgan, one of the team’s two coaches and a Lecturer in Management and Marketing in the Sanders College of Business and Technology. “These young men are fully committed, and it shows in these extraordinary results.”
麻豆原创 continues to emerge as a national powerhouse in collegiate and professional bass fishing, according the Jeremy Martin, the other team coach and Director of Disability Support Services.
